Taco Tuesday is back and better! You asked for it and we made it happen... You can now choose your own taco proteins! 

Weekly protein options include chicken carbon, ground all-beef picadillo, and all-new pork carnitas, plus a weekly special! This week's special is al pastor.

Each meal comes with soft flour tortillas and now hard shells, too! Includes brand new refried beans & fan-favorite Mexican rice. Taco toppings still include lettuce, Chihuahua cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, Nada's hot sauce, and Nada's signature salsa trio with chips.

Additional proteins are now available a la carte, however, additional taco shells & accoutrements are not included.

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375° & prepare to cook on the middle rack. While the oven is preheating, unpack all your “mise en place” (ingredients).

Step 2: Remove plastic lid from the pan of chicken & beef. Place the foil-covered pan on a sheet tray on the middle rack in the oven for 35-45 minutes. You know your oven best; cook times may vary. It’s all cooked, so you’re simply reheating. Stir the meat halfway through to ensure even heating.

Step 3: Reheat the beans & rice by removing the tight-fitting lid from each tray & setting it loosely on top. It’s very important NOT to refit the lid on tight as it will steam up & could cause burns when opened. Place the container of beans on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for 1 minute intervals until hot, removing the lid & stirring in between. Be very careful taking off the lid! There will be hot steam. Cooking time should be around 2-3 minutes depending on your microwave. Repeat the above steps for the rice.

Step 4: Toward the end of cooking, set the table with the rest of your toppings, sauces, chips & salsas.

Step 5: Remove the meat from the oven, & place foil-wrapped tortillas directly into the oven for 5 minutes to reheat. You can also remove the foil from the tortillas & place in the microwave until warm, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 6: When meat, beans & rice, & the tortillas are hot & the table is set, it’s time to feast! Build-your-own soft taco, tostada, taco salad, or however you taco best. Enjoy!
