Sotto’s Lasagna Bolognese Meal | Serves 4
Sotto’s classic Lasagna Bolognese dinner. Includes the mista salad with seasonal shaved vegetables, and Sixteen Bricks garlic bread.
Difficulty: So easy!
Time: 2 hours
Step 1: Pull from your refrigerator, remove the plastic lid, & place on the counter for one hour before cooking. Preheat the oven to 450° & prepare to cook on the middle rack. This step makes all the difference)
Step 2: Put the foil-covered lasagna on a sheet tray & place it in the oven on the middle rack for 20-25 minutes, remove the foil, & bake for 10 minutes, uncovered, or until golden. You know your oven best.
Step 3: Remove the lasagna from the oven & rest on the counter, ideally on a cooling rack for at least 15 minutes.
Step 4: Put the foil-wrapped garlic bread in the oven for 10-15 minutes. While the bread is in the oven, combine the shaved vegetables with the greens, & dress the salad.
Step 5: Slice the lasagna & scoop carefully onto plates. Garnish the lasagna with parmigiano. Slice up the warm garlic bread.
